My first attempt at making lasagne was me trying to use up leftover spaghetti sauce and a box of dried pasta sheets that had been in the kitchen cupboard forever. Unfortunately I didn't have enough sauce ... So as to not repeat this incident again; I followed a recipe, and even tried making pasta from scratch!
